(Aug 15, 2013) This brand new report will tell the story of the educational pathways taken by high school grads who enrolled in college. It will provide student-level information on coursework, cumulative credit, grade point averages, and credentials awarded at each college or university, along with some high school achievement and assessment data. Guidance counselors, college registrars, advisors, administrators and others with secure access rights are anticipating the many ways to use the report to evaluate their programs. It will be among the first of many where our Unique Identification Codes enable us to connect records gathered from different sources and different phases of a child’s education, while protecting student confidentiality.
We are grateful to the many committed and energetic workgroups from throughout the education community who have helped bring this and other valuable K12-to-postsecondary reports closer to reality. We are currently testing the report and hope to post it in mid-October. The College Transfer report, which has information about students who transferred from a 2-year to a 4-year college, will be delivered at the same time. Professional development trainings and tutorials are also in our plans – stayed tuned!
